Robert Courtneidge Recognised in Payments Power 10 for Sixth Consecutive Year

Locke Lord’s Robert Courtneidge, Global Head of the Cards and Payments Practice in the Firm’s London office, has been selected for the sixth consecutive year by the Payments Power 10, a highly competitive ranking of the most influential payments industry contributors. Courtneidge is routinely recognised as a leader in the industry and is the only attorney ranked for 2017.

The Payments Power 10 was announced at PayExpo Europe, the UK’s largest payments technology annual event. The list is formed from nominations gathered across the international payments community and voted on by global industry leaders. In PayExpo’s announcement of the winners, the payments industry recognised that “Robert is a true expert and leader. Working with a wide range of major financial institutions around the world, Robert’s insightful commentaries have helped clients stay compliant and reach profit targets.”

Courtneidge’s recognition follows a number of recent honors for Locke Lord’s Cards and Payments team. Led in Europe by Siobhan Moore, the group continues to be at the forefront of payment services and was recognised as “a strong team with good industry knowledge,” receiving a Band 2 ranking by Chambers UK in the area of Financial Services: Payments Law. Courtneidge also maintained the individual Band 1 ranking. The group was also recognised in The Legal 500 UK.
