Trustly awarded the DI Gasell as one of Sweden’s fastest growing companies

For the second year in a row, the Swedish FinTech company Trustly is delighted to announce that it has been nominated for the prestigious DI Gasell awards.

DI Gasell was established in 2000 by the Swedish financial daily newspaper Dagens Industri, to award Sweden’s fastest growing and profitable companies.

A nominated DI Gasell company must meet the following criteria:

Turnover exceeding 10M SEK

  • Minimum 10 employees
  • At least doubled its turnover, when comparing the first and the past fiscal year
  • Increased its turnover each year the past three years
  • A positive operating profit for the past four fiscal years
  • In all essentials grown organically, not by acquisitions or fusions
  • Sound finances

Milestones reached in 2016:

  • 5B EUR annualized current run-rate of processed transaction volume
  • 6B EUR in processed transaction volume since inception in 2008
  • Supporting payments to and from 400M consumers across 29 European geographies
  • Recent customers include digital banks Avanza and Nordnet in Sweden
  • Opening of London office with six employees
  • 65 new employees in 2016, reaching a total of 150
